American Timber is a small family-owned and operated business that is located in Central North Carolina. Our main focus for tree services is in the Whispering Pines, Vass, Southern Pines, Pinehurst, and Vass areas.
Forestry runs strong in our blood, as we originate from the state of Pennsylvania. Throughout our past we have practiced tree care throughout the eastern states from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. We pride ourselves in using innovative and modern climbing techniques to care for your trees.

Pruning and Reductions
In the Piedmont NC area we prune based off of the season and type of tree. Pruning of deciduous trees will take place in the winter months. We practice in this manner to mitigate the spread of diseases that affect trees during the warmer months. Pruning of evergreen trees can be done throughout the year.
